Nissa is a ranged Carry who excels in the early phases of the game. Nissa’s high combat mobility and guaranteed harass can often afford her several early kills and propel her strongly into late game. Actively utilizing her Passive can further strengthen her early game by giving her a vision advantage on any ganking opponents. Late game, mobility becomes a key factor to Nissa’s success allowing her to outrange and run circles around her opponents.

“Kill only what you must. Take pride in your skill, but no joy in death.”

Nissa was the High Huntress of the Stonebloom tribe until she bonded with the Spirit of Pursuit. The people of the east venerate the Spirits as untouchable, and her Vitality powers left her an outcast. She wanders with her companion Tal’ah, helping where she can, but always moving on.


"Touch the snow. What does it tell you about your prey?"

The boy hunkers down, nose just over the track. He thrusts his branch "spear" into a drift, slips off one glove and runs his fingers lightly over the pawprint. "It's an altai cat?"

"Mm. By the size and the stride length, I would guess five or six summers old. What else?"

He shakes his head, breath wreathing his face. "Only that it went that way." He waves off into the pine-shadows.

"Here," I squat and point. "Your prey was walking. If it were at speed, there would be a buildup of snow in the center, from the pressure when it pushed off. This blurring? There was a light snow last night, yes? It passed before then. That discoloration? It's not dirt - the track isn't deep enough. That's blood, from a wound nearly scabbed over."

A call drifts though the trees. I crane my head around, turning my ears to determine the origin. "Your mother?"

"No," he lies transparently, looking away.

I smile and rise. Tal'ah scrambles up, tiny claws digging in to my legs and back. I barely feel her anymore, though she's reached full size. "You have a lifetime to learn to hunt. Your supper will grow cold in a short while."

"Would you share our fire?" he asks.

"No, I - I can't." It's my turn to look away. "I'm sorry. I wouldn't be welcome."

"'Everyone is welcome in the snow,'" he quotes proverb, frost-red nose scrunching up in confusion.

"I am a Shaper."

He takes a step back, making an unconscious warding gesture with his hand, thumb to palm, fingers splayed. The same sign I used to use, years and leagues ago.

It's time to move on again. The cold has grown bitter.

Nissa uses Focus to cast her abilities. Nissa generates 5 Focus per basic attack against her primary target.

When Nissa enters a bush, Tal'ah dismounts and hides in the bush, granting vision. After 120 seconds, Tal'ah gets lonely and returns to Nissa.

The Chase

Passive: Nissa's agility increases, granting her 15/20/25/30/35 bonus Haste.

Active: Nissa sprints, increasing her Movement Speed by 60%, decaying quickly over 3 seconds and reducing the effectiveness of slows by 35%. Basic attacks during The Chase recover 10 Focus and will refresh The Chase (maximum 3 refreshes).

Nissa throws a modified Birraga that spins in place for 4 seconds, dealing 80/140/200/260/320 (+120% Power) physical damage to enemies in the area over time and reducing their Movement Speeds by 30/35/40/45/50%.

Final Flight

Very Long Range (1900 m) Line

First Cast: Nissa throws her relic Birraga, dealing 125/225/325 (+65% Power) physical damage to the first enemy it passes through and 10% less damage to each subsequent enemy (minimum 50%) before returning to Nissa, striking enemies again.

Recast: Nissa recalls Final Flight early.

Cooldown: 100/90/80 seconds
