Tess is a Ranged, physical damage Carry with quite a bit of damage packed into her, and a little team utility to boot. She excels at poking, especially when the enemy is grouped, and can easily make that poke that much more devastating by mounting her Iron Horse to empower her other abilities. She also has a large slow on her third ability, Backdraft, especially if her cannon is in overdrive at the time. While her passive may not seem like much, at low levels the bit of extra chunk she gets at the start of engagements can make a difference, and it just makes her poke that much more fantastic. Finally, she has her Ultimate, with currently the longest range for an ult in the game, not uncluding Ashabel's global dragon, and Dibs' global flight. If you catch a team out with your ult, it can absolutely devastate their Health reserves, and also make it near impossible for them to run away from a follow-up by your team if they are forced to run through the destruction.

Some of you might have sailed with me before. Some of you may have fought me before. A few of you I might have slept with. If I liked you, I'd remember, so don't ask.

Few years back, my crew took a big damn prize from Count Calliani. She's been sitting in my dock ever since. Yeah, I hear you crap-for-brains in the back there, snickering. It's true enough. Been trying to make her fly. Balloons. Wings. Fireworks. Catapults. Ducks on strings. Buttered toast and cats. Even tried to steal some of them old wings from the east. Only got a month in the clink for the trouble, 'for my mates busted me out.

Well I got something better now. So hear this, bitches.

You think on that now. Think about going wherever the wind takes ya. Flying over the wall of some prince's manor, hauling up his treasure, and leaving him to shake his fist up at you.

Any of you scum want to get rich, sign articles with me. I'm gonna piss on them snooty queens and kick over the virtuosos' sand castles. Tess may cast her abilities freely. Tess' Basic Attacks against an enemy Shaper signal a shot from the Osprey, dealing 10 to 67 (based on level) true damage to the target. This effect has a 10 second cooldown and is delayed by 1 second when Tess is damaged by an enemy Shaper.

Fires a missile in target direction, dealing 50/75/100/125/150 (+80% Power) physical damage to the first target hit and apply on-hit effects. Deals 30/45/60/75/90 (+40% Power) physical damage to all targets behind the primary in a cone. Overdrive: Fires a cluster shot, dealing 88/131/175/219/263 (+140% Power) total physical damage and applying 3 on-hit effects. Deals 53/79/105/131/158 (+70% Power) physical damage to all targets behind the primary target in a cone.

Tiny Range (0 m) Self-Cast

Tess mounts the Iron Horse over 2 seconds, extended by 0.5 seconds if she takes damage from an enemy shaper (up to a max of 4 seconds). When mounted, Tess ramps up to 70% increased Movespeed over 2 seconds. After being mounted for 9/8/7/6/5 seconds, Tess' gun becomes Overdriven - empowering her next Bombshell or Backdraft cast. Overdrive may last up to 4 seconds after dismounting. Casting an ability or basic attack while the Iron Horse is active will cancel Mount Up. Once mounted, any form of disabling effect applied to Tess will instantly dismount her.

Tess orders her skyship, the Osprey, to drop anchor in target direction, dealing 190/310/430 (+0.9) physical damage. Tess' anchor destroys the ground it travels along for 4 seconds, causing enemy Shapers to be slowed by 30/40/50% while in the destruction.
